One of our greatest challenges in the next two years will be to correct the health care law that Speaker Nancy Pelosi rammed through the Congress by fraud, cover-up, bully and bribe, with the help of incumbent Rep. Dave Loebsack. It has now become obvious that a primary purpose of this legislation was to destroy the ability of the private sector to indemnify the costs of health care.

Who is best qualified to fix this? A whip-smart physician who is also trained as a nurse with prior service in the Army, on the University of Iowa medical school faculty and as a private practitioner? Or a class-warrior who has shown that he will nearly always carry the water for Pelosi and the socialist wing in charge of the Democratic party in Congress?

I hope the people of Johnson County will vote for the good of the country and not just the aggrandizement of the government sector.

Please vote for Mariannette Miller-Meeks for the U.S. House of Representatives.
