Dave Loebsack voted for the health care reform bill without reading or understanding it. I guess he just followed Speaker Nancy Pelosi's recommendation, "We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it." And, boy, are we now finding out what is in it.

Case in point, Principal Financial Group Inc. -- based in Iowa -- is closing their health care division of 1,500 workers. Initially, Principal will eliminate 150 jobs and more later. Other insurance companies will follow suit. It will become impossible for many health care providers and insurance companies to meet the new regulations of this bill, therefore leading to more jobs lost.

I suppose that was the plan all along. Once all the private insurance companies leave, the public option will be the only option.

Is this who we want to represent us in Washington? A representative who blindly follows party leadership, and continues our country down the wrong road. It is not about what is best for the Democratic Party. It is about what is best for the Second District.

The Obama administration is setting us on a dangerous course. Business, families and all working people have lost trust in this majority.

Loebsack, what were you thinking, you are fired!

Pelosi, you are fired!

Sen. Harkin, are you paying attention?
